(1) The local body shall do the following while operating the waste management site:-

(a) Waste management Measures to reduce the negative impact on the environment of the area due to the leachate, gas and odors released during the operation of the site,

(b) Changes that may occur in the geographical condition of the waste management site and Its management measures,

(c) The economic, social, physical and biological effects on people's lives around the waste management site and its management measures,

(d) Provisions related to utilization of opportunities arising from the operation of waste management sites,

(e) Management of waste management sites Matters related to the need to stop traffic at that place and the awareness to be adopted in that regard.

(2) Other arrangements related to the operation of the waste management site shall be as mentioned in the standards and guidelines set by the local body in this regard.
